What is live today

Product buttons currently go to official manufacturer sites. Amazon Associates and Chewy slots are empty until partner IDs are added — we will not invent them.

Product buttons use a helper in affiliates.ts. If NEXT_PUBLIC_AMAZON_ASSOCIATES_TAG or NEXT_PUBLIC_CHEWY_AFFILIATE_ID is empty — and they are, unless you set them — the helper falls back to the official manufacturer URL. Affiliate buttons, when they exist, include rel="sponsored nofollow".

What we will not do

• Invent Amazon Associates tags, Chewy IDs, or brand cookies.
• Hide this disclosure behind a footer nobody reads and nowhere else.
• Take money to move a product up a ranking table.
• Pretend a first-box coupon is the real price.

Other money

Labeled sponsorships, if we take them later, will be marked as sponsorships. They will not land on a ranking table. Pet insurance lead offers, if they ever appear, will be disclosed as lead generation — a different job than a product review.
