Best dog seat covers for cars (2026)
A dog seat cover is a hammock or a bench sheet. The job is: keep slobber and grit off the upholstery you still have to resell. It is not a crash restraint.

A cargo liner is the hatch version. Better with a Gunner-class crate than with a loose jumper. Measure wheel wells.

The job is stay put plus wash. We weighted anchors, hammock vs bench, and belt slits. We do not score crash tests — that is the other ranking.
A cover is not a seat belt
Airbags, front seats, and loose dogs are a bad mix. Back seat or cargo. A portable crate in a sedan is a different object. Puppy first rides should be short and boring.
